I want to thank the California Raisins for instilling in me the importance of going to the library and checking out books. However, once again, I now have a bunch of overdo library books. Six overdo library books to be exact ( the library now sends you texts when you have overdo books). As influential as that song and video have been in my life, I am starting to feel that the California Raisins were being a little irresponsible by not including instructions on returning the books that they so emphatically wanted me to check out. These fines are starting to add up. I am wondering if there is an extended version of that song out there somewhere that does a better job of explaining the most important part about checking out books, the fact that you have to return them. Regardless, the California Raisins will always be awesome in my book.
