This week is the last week of new episodes of Late Night with Conan O’Brien. I didn’t know this until yesterday when I saw the Masturbating Bear get frozen in carbonite. We will have to wait and see but Conan taking over The Tonight Show is probably going to be cool and suck at the same time. It is cool because Jay Leno sucks. It sucks because Conan will not be able to get away with the same stuff. Masturbating Bear, Vomiting Kermit, Coked-Up Werewolf, etc. will never be seen again until Conan comes out with a Best of DVD which I will buy. Conan is probably the funniest person I have ever seen so he will find a way to make it work but I don’t think it will ever be the same. This was one of my favorite shows and it made me laugh for many years. I am going to miss it. It had a big influence on me. I honestly don’t know if we would even have Nacho Donut if it were not for Conan. At the very least Nacho Donut would not be the Nacho Donut that it is today.
Make sure you watch the last few episodes. Conan has started chopping up the set with an ax. I am sure Friday is going to be fucking crazy.
